We do our best to make sure there are plenty of activities here at Pecan Park to keep you and the whole family busy while you’re camping. Occasionally, however, you want to entertain each other at your campsite. With that in mind, we have three all-time favorite lawn games that can be easily played while camping.
Simplicity is the best rule of thumb for having fun at your campsite. When the kids and adults start to get a little restless you can pull out the bouncing balls. That would be baseballs, footballs, heck even frisbees! All it takes is some imagination and a few rowdy souls and you can create just about any type of game from catch to pickle!
When was the last time you played a game of Twister? It can be so much fun to play and those on the sidelines have as much fun as those who are twisted up and playing. You don’t have to have a special mat for the game, you can just cut out color coded circles and put them on the ground as markers. Simply make the pattern right there on the lawn and just call out random colors and body parts. This is one of those games that everyone will want to get into!
We all know how hot it can get during those summer days. Why not cool things down a little with a game of water wars? You can chase each other with squirt guns. It’s fun getting wet and the little kids think they are so cool when they manage to soak a parent.
